Grants
Innovation and Challenge Grant
GAEF Innovation and Challenge Grants (ICG) are intended to encourage classroom innovation and/or help solve funding challenges that are outside the regular annual building or department budget. ICG requests must directly benefit student achievement and/or student wellness. Multiple classroom partnerships and community partnerships are encouraged.
The ICG application window opens during the second semester of the current school year. Awards are announced at the May GAEF Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting. Funds are transferred from GAEF to the building budget in early July so purchases can be made before the school year begins.
